Colors, unassisted births, spoiled, personality, heavy milkers, spoiled, heavy fleece, good mothers...did I mention SPOILED? Our girls have it all...and will do anything for a handful of corn chips.

Our Icelandic flock is heavily patterned and colored. We breed for quality fleeces on fast growing lambs, giving us a spinners palette of color and pattern with each shearing.

Montana is our oldest girl (10 years young) and part of our original flock. She consistently lambs unassisted, producing large vigorous ,patterned or solid lambs. She is a very attentive mother, nursing her set of triplets without assistance.

 

Montana is the biggest character among our flock….always first in line and friendly when a feed bucket is in hand...and has the  psychic ability to spot a worm drencher or hoof trimmer in your pocket and be at the other end of the pasture in a blink of an eye.

 

Montana is long bodied and has retained her dark Moorit coloring with age, both attributes of which she seems to pass along to her offspring.

 

2008: Montana was bred to Phoenix, to give us a black ewe and a black mouflan ewe. Both lambs are available contact us to reserve these charming ewe lambs.

Maggie is a character like her grandmother Montana. Very inquisitive to anything out of the ordinary, and yet always on guard for danger, often pacing the fence if our dogs are near. She has produced heavily spotted lambs and is a very attentive mother, never letting her lambs stray too far.

 

Maggie had wide strong horns and heavy fleece.

 

2008: Maggie delivered two wildly spotted ram lambs out of Leonardo. These guys are definitely a must see!!  Both are available, contact us to reserve them.
