Oreo

CLRC Reg. No. RTK B5H 01N

Horned Spotted Grey Solid Twin (Carries Moorit)

Lambing Record (2,2,3,2,2)  (220% Lamber)

Oreo came to us from The Red Trillium in 2003. She is a large sheep with beautiful long silky fleece. She has consistently lambed without assistance and is a very watchful mother.

Oreo has passed on her highly sought after wool to her offspring. Her yarn is among the first to disappear from our shelves and has been made into several baby blankets.

Oreo’s distinctive “bawl” always greets the evening feed bucket and its amazing how fast she can move to get a couple of corn chips...even when carrying triplets!!

Oreo was  bred to our Phoenix  for 2008, giving us two solid Black ram lambs, both are available.

Idgy

CLRC Reg. No. TMB IDGY EWE B5SH 15S

Horned Spotted Grey Solid Triplet (Carries Moorit )

Lambing Record ( 2 )

Idgy is friendly girl, always coming up for a head or back scratch . Idgy got her beautiful white/grey fleece from her mother, Oreo, and her build from her sire, Louis.

Idgy delivered prematurely this year, producing a tiny spotted grey Moorit ram and a black/grey ewe. To our heartbreak, the little ewe didn’t make it, even with additional help.

But, Idgy, proving her good maternal instincts, has managed to raise an extremely spoiled little ram, Charlie!!! Charlie is growing like a weed and is the star of the pasture. We are expecting good things from Idgy in the future!!

Ruth

CLRC Reg. No. TMB RUTH EWE B5SH 16S

Horned Spotted Solid Triplet (Carries Moorit)

Lambing Record ( 0 )

Ruth is one Oreo’s triplets,  with a very eye-catching spotted pattern. She retains her mother’s long flowing fleece.

Ruthie has a heavy build from her father Louis, and thick soft fleece. Ruth was bred to our Matthew this year, to blend our heaviest fleece producing lines.

Ruthie remained open this year.
