We are currently processing the fleece from our spring 2007 shearing of Icelandic sheep, Alpaca, and Llamas.

 

The majority of our fleece is processed into yarns. Each animal’s fleece is processed and marketed separately, except in our specialty plies, where 2 or 3 compatible colors are plied together to give an unique yarn.

 

A small portion of our fleece is processed into batts and roving for  felters and spinners.

 

We also have a limited number of professionally tanned sheep hides in fleece.
